Ingredients:

  • ¼cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoonsred wine vinegar
  • 1garlic clove, minced
  • ½teaspoon dried oregano, more for sprinkling
  • ¼teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ¼teaspoon sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions:

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, garlic, oregano, mustard, salt, and pepper.

Vegan Ranch Dressing

Do not let the temptation for tasty ranch dressing sabotage your weight loss efforts! Ranch dressing is notorious for being loaded with saturated fat and sodium. Swap out your store-bought ranch for some nutritious and delicious vegan ranch dressing.

Ingredients:

  • 1cup raw cashews
  • ½cup water
  • ⅓cup peeled and diced cucumber
  • 2tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • ½teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½teaspoon onion powder
  • ½teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼teaspoon dried dill
  • Chives,for garnish

Instructions:

In a blender, combine cashews, water, cucumber, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and dill and blend until completely smooth and creamy. Top with chives.

Green Goddess Dressing

This dressing is famous for a reason… It’s absolutely delicious! If you follow Baked by Melissa on TikTok, you might be familiar with the Green Goddess salad that has gained notoriety for its nutrient and vegetable-filled dressing that works on almost any food.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of basil leaves
  • 1 cup of spinach leaves
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small shallot
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of nuts of your choice (I used cashews and walnuts)
  • 1/3 cup of nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • Any extra chives (optional)
  • jalapeño (optional)

Instructions:

In a blender, combine basil, spinach, garlic, shallot, lemon juice, olive oil, nuts, nutritional yeast, salt, rice vinegar, and chives. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.

Cilantro Lime Dressing

This dressing takes less than 10 minutes to make and goes great on so much more than just salad greens. Pair this dressing with tacos, burritos, roasted vegetables, chicken, fish, or steak. It even doubles as a healthy dipping sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 avocado (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions:

In a blender, combine lime juice, olive oil, avocado, cilantro, garlic, salt, cumin, and pepper and blend until completely smooth and creamy. For a thinner consistency add water as needed.
