Spring is a season for all things new, which means it’s the perfect time to spice up your romantic outings. Here are a few of our favorite spring date ideas.
Take Me Out To The Ballgame
Baseball season is back, baby! For a fun day at the ballpark with your boo, find tickets to a local MLB or minor league game and spend some time enjoying the weather, sports, and everyone’s favorite: a stadium hot dog. Splurge and get the good toppings – and if the ketchup drips, who needs a napkin? Help your partner out with a swift (rather tasty) kiss.
Get Some Fresh Air
The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming… and it’s your chance to leave home and check out that new brewery in town that everyone is buzzing about. Pick a spot on the patio, sit close, and cheers to making it through crazy weather. Or, treat yourselves to that great restaurant you’ve been dying to try, and when the hostess asks, “inside or out,” spring for the al fresco option and play a little footsie under the table.
Hit The Trails
Plenty of state and local parks have cool hiking trails that you and your date can check out when the sun starts to shine! Find a local path and go for a walk, pack up the bikes for a trip to the trails, or find a nice walking route in your neighborhood. Breathe in the fresh air and feel those endorphins flow – increasing your mood and igniting a euphoric connection between you and your partner. Sweat a little, sweet talk a lot – and hit the shower together at home afterwards to freshen up.
Pack A Picnic
May we suggest skipping the egg salad and packing something a little sexier like chocolate-covered strawberries? Pack a lunch together and find a comfy, secluded spot outside to enjoy it – then give a bite, take a bite! Bring some fun games to play while you’re there, or bring your deck of Date Night cards to spice up the conversation a little!
Do It Yourself… Together
Spring is the perfect time for home improvement projects, so why not tackle one with your significant other? Pinterest is full of easy home projects, like turning that blank wall into a chalkboard wall with a paint tune-up or planning that herb garden you’ve been talking about. Make your new DIY creations extra exciting by writing one another sexy notes on the chalk wall or splashing around while you water your plot. Whatever it may be – pick a DIY project you’re both excited to try and get started!
