So Turned On

I just miss him so much.
“I miss you, too,” he says as if he was reading my thoughts.
“You’d miss me even more if you could see me right now,” I say in a coy, light voice. If this call is all we have, then I’m going to make the most of it.
Graham’s breathing changes.
It’s just a slight sharpening of his inhales, but I know my man as well as I know myself and I hear it. My heart skips a beat and my body comes to life, delicious aches bloom all over my body.
“Are you wearing it?” He drops his voice’s octave and volume and I can just imagine his storm-cloud gray eyes narrowing and his soft lips parting as he waits for me to answer.
“Yes.” My response is short, but there’s a catch in my voice as I run a hand over my breast and trace a circle around my nipple.
“Are you touching yourself?” His voice is just above a whisper.

“I love romance. I love that we live in a time where women are freer than ever to explore their sexuality and pursue their pleasure.
Writing love stories that create heart-pounding, soul-satisfying romantic connections has been a wonderful way to contribute to that.
This scene was such a treat to write. Graham and Apollo are beloved characters from my book The Sun and Her Star. Their original love story was full of angst and heartbreak, but also soaring happiness and of course, lots of sexual tension.
Visiting them again, this time as parents and life partners, was a nice reminder that even with the demands of children and jobs, a little effort goes a long way to keeping the fire burning between lovers. Using the Pure Romance products to give them a much needed night of reconnection and pleasure was so much fun.
